Learning From My Betting Blunders
I have been wagering on the internet or at real life gambling halls for many years. I have learned, the habit usually will take a hold of you and you won’t even see it until you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a run. I have been through uncounted tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and at times, I sometimes go a bit too far. It appears you are only enjoying yourself up till you choose to track your loss and the anguish settles in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I could gain it back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you feel sick to your stomach and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.
When you discover that you are in the black, STAY on the UP! When you begin to throw away, do not inform yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, trust me, this method RARELY ever works. Say you are betting on slot machine games, have an amount set aside before starting your gambling. DO NOT exceed this range, no matter how appealing. If you happen to gain, put that in a different pot. Don’t bet your profits no matter what. Once you have gambled through your initial set threshold, stop. Depart, whether it is on the net or in a brick and mortar gambling den, don’t stick at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there will be other days, other times. Obviously, this scheme usually will work for any casino game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, chemin de fer or any other casino game.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not burdensome, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the squanderings, don’t even begin.
