Cambodia Gambling Dens

There is a captivating history to the Cambodia gambling halls that sit just across the border from nearby Thailand, where gambling den gambling is against the law. Eight gambling dens are based in a generally tiny area in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This conclave of Cambodia gambling halls is in a prime area, a three to 4 hour travel from Bangkok and Macao, the two largest gaming locations in Asia. The first Cambodia gambling dens premiered in Phnom Penh in the mid nineties, but were forced to close in 1998, leaving just a single gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a stationary ship gambling den, contains one hundred and fifty slot machine games and sixty table games. The Naga gambling hall never closes with 42 tables of mini-baccarat banque, four tables of twenty-one, ten of roulette, 2 of Caribbean Stud Poker, and one each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.

Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slot machines and 66 of the normal gaming tables, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. Another one of the 8 casinos in Poipet, again a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machines and 97 casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an international vacation and hotel compound that highlights many conveniences on top of the casino, which provides 10,000 sq.ft. of 130 slot machine games and eighty eight gaming tables.
